THE RIDES:
1971 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28:
I got this car in the fall of 2003 from my uncle which had bought it in 1985 from the orignal owner. It orignal was a base RS coupe with the 350 2bbl option with no spoilers and was orignal Nevada Silver. It had been siting under a oak tree in the backyard for couple years which have obtained leaves, dirt, and all kinda crap in the engine bay and cowling area. Not to mention the window had been left down on the driver's side that let rain and leaves in surprised it didn't rust out the floorboards but lucky solid as a rock also still have the factory red/orange oxide coating. Well I decided to ask my uncle if he wanted to sell it and after 2 weeks of thinkin he decided to give it to me as a gift to restore and keep it in the family. So, we hauled her home in rough shape with green algae growing all over her lol....this lead me to washing her the first thing we did after getting the car. After, getting some parts in the summer of 2004 we seen of to the shop and begin the teardown and restoration which it was worst then i thought orignally soo we replace both rear fenders, trunk lid, trunk right front fender, and patched the left front. And finally got the bodywork fixed with all new metal back in her so i decided to paint her back Antique white(code 11) with factory black Z28 stripes and turned out very nice with base and clearcoat. After all this work in the summer of 2006 finally got back home in the garage and still have engine work to do and more!!...the rest of the story is on the camaro page....thanks!
1966 Chevrolet C-10-
This truck was orignally bought by my grandpa from Central Chevrolet in West Columbia,SC for around $2500 in 1965 when they introduced the new model year. It gradually pasted down thru the family and to me where it is now. When i got the truck for my own it had some rust issues but nothing normal for a 40+ year old truck. So, when it had to be my daily driver in the fall of 2002 for high school me and my dad decided to get her fresh paint and new wheels and tires. We had her repainted an holy green and dark green color and back up with some american racing outlaw II wheels with BFG rubber 255/60/r15 and 275/60/r15 to give a little rake stance....It turned out well to me and was my daily driver for couple years until i got my 1989 Bonneville.
1989 Pontiac Bonneville-
My mom bought this car brand new in 1989 when I was 3 years old and was used as daily driver status of the family for last 10+ years and until recently when my mom bought her new 2005 Bonneville when i recieved it to be my new daily driver to keep the miles at bay for my two classic vehicles.
